Stien Saison

Stien Saison is a full-bodied yet refreshing beer. Top-fermented and with refermentation in the bottle. Just like Stien, Saison has a long history. In the past, Saison was brewed in the winter and stored until the harvest period, the moment when summer workers needed some refreshment. 

A thirst-quenching beer was part of that refreshment. Back then, however, the beers were lighter in alcohol content. You were allowed to drink a few glasses, but it was not the intention to harvest drunk.

The Stien Saison is slightly fuller at 5.8% and is wonderful on a terrace, but also goes perfectly with pasta or chicken.
